Paralegal/Analyst for a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will assist attorneys in all facets of projects. You will monitor, manage and respond to communications; provide and create reports and tracking systems; receive and manage sensitive and highly confidential information and records; prepare documents and presentations; schedule and attend meetings, and perform miscellaneous project-related activities as assigned. Understanding of meeting deadlines and prioritization a must.
Must have exceptional oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to solve problems creatively and independently. Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (Federal and State), experience with trial preparation and trial assistance. Strong writing and proofreading skills. Cite checking and blue booking skills a plus. Paralegal Certificate a plus. Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel). Experience with database and litigation software packages. Maturity, strong work ethic, sound judgment, and excellent organizational skills. Ability to understand and maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to multi-task while maintaining concentrated attention to detail and priorities. Foreign language skills a plus.

Administrative Assistant performs general administrative tasks such as handling the mail, typing, filing, and answering phones. Establishes and maintains office files, makes appointments and arranges meetings as required. Compiles information from various sources and utilizes the information for uses such as generating reports. Audits and maintains various reports specific to his/her project by checking for errors, inconsistencies or discrepancies; makes corrections and notifies appropriate personnel of any modifications. Ensures that firm schedules and calendars are kept updated. Updates and maintains pertinent business information via computer or firm files. Assists with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the firm at any given time. Drafts and prepare correspondence and/or presentations. May assist in processing accounting and billing information for the firm. May provide backup support for other employees and attorneys in the firm such as handling multi-line phone system, greeting visitors, and other receptionist-related duties. Handles incoming and outgoing phones for the firm and responds to questions and/or requests in a professional manner. Assists and supports attorneys in preparing for meetings. Maintains and promotes positive and professional working relationships within the firm. Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations. Performs related duties as assigned.
Successful candidate must be energetic, organized and professional. Must have the ability to communicate effectively. Strong time management skills a must, and must be able to work independently with minimal guidance. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Detailed oriented and has the ability multi-task in a fast-paced, busy environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Foreign language skills a plus.
